Federal Law mandates that guns may only be shipped to a Federal Firearms Licensed (FFL) dealer. Your local dealer will ensure that you are allowed to legally purchase the gun under all Federal, State and Local Laws before completing the transfer.

Once you've made your selection and the firearm is in your Shopping Cart, proceed to Checkout where you will select your preferred local FFL dealer using our FFL Finder tool. Once your selection is confirmed, we’ll ship your order to the FFL dealer of your choosing. USAGO Members enjoy free shipping and FFL transfers for select membership levels. Not all FFL Dealers accept transfers, so it’s best to call ahead and make sure they'll accept your transfer. The FFL dealer will complete the required NICS background check needed to transfer the firearm to you.
Your new firearm will ship fast, directly to your local FFL dealer. An experienced dealer will help ensure the process goes smoothly. This information will help you understand what to anticipate after your local FFL dealer has received your order.
TRACK YOU ORDERAfter you order leaves our Warehouse, we'll send you tracking information so you'll always know the status of your firearm in transit.
SCHEDULE A PICK-UPOnce your order arrives at your local Dealer, call ahead to schedule a time to pick up your firearm and complete the transfer. Most dealers charge a modest fee to complete for this service. Any firearms transfer fee is paid directly to the FFL Dealer and not included with your USAGO order. Ask in advance if you have any questions.
Inspect Your FirearmDuring the transfer process, give the gun a thorough inspection. Make sure it's what you ordered and that it's not damaged, because once it's transferred, it cannot be returned. If there's an issue, don't accept the firearm. Change to : Contact the USAGO customer service team, and we'll take care of the situation to make it right. Once a gun is transferred, you must handle all warranty or repair work directly with the manufacturer.
NICS CheckOnce you've checked the gun and approved the transfer, your FFL dealer will conduct a mandatory background check through the National Instant Criminal Background Check System (NICS). Make sure you bring the appropriate type of photo ID and information to complete the NICS check and any other paperwork required to complete the firearm transfer in the state or jurisdiction where you live. Your FFL dealer can advise you on what's required.
